Shells to be Chosen

To destroy the enemy, you should use a right shell.

But what kind of shell should it be?
 

Today you can make use of deck-piercing shells and High-Explosive ammunition while playing World of Warships.
If your target is to erase ship superstructures or set them on fire, you should resort to deck-piercing shells.
High-Explosive ammunition can be used to take a heavy toll on the strategic and untouched stations onboard.
You fire straight, but the shell hasn`t harmed the object, you chose, or it has hit the target stronger than you expected. How can we avoid it?

Here are some tips to win and make your gun battle more effective and quick power-leveling your ships:
 

• For High-Explosive ammunition, you should draw a bead on a box citadel and ammunition space. It`s not easy, but fault-free and instantaneous.
   
• For deck-piercing shells, use soft targets such as light cruisers, destroyers. Deck-piercing shells will create damage and knock out of action the object of your interest to enemy`s surprise. Don`t use large caliber shells. That doesn`t help the situation. It`ll burst beyond the object but a soft target will be passed clear.
   
• You fire High-Explosive ammunition, but the damage is slight, your enemy`s armor remained intact. That means that your weapon is low-yield. Switch to deck-piercing shells. They will help you to inflame and destroy the objects you need to and impose medium losses on the enemy.
   
•  A hostile warship has tailed on or turned forward. It`s time to use deck-piercing shells, as you can`t hit the box citadel by any other shells. And you will become all powerful.
   

Remember: you should study to get the skill of error free shell type adjustment. Only experience will enable you to probe your enemy`s weaknesses and adjust to the circumstances. Go up, practice the skill and get hand in it.
