It is very obvious to sink a ship using Artillery Fire, air attack and torpedoes, but the best way is to conduct artillery fire on the citadel, where the most significant compartments of the ship are located. Difficult in execution, and thus the most effective way is the destruction of the engine room or artillery cellar. To implement it, you need the skill of aimed shooting, because you have to break through the most armored part of the ship. This is a risky way, but this way you will be able to defeat rivals whose ships are much more powerful and stronger than yours.

BURN THEM ALL! - a very effective method, put fires on your opponents ships using high-explosive shells or bombs. With active fires there are certain negative effects: a decrease of combat capability, a slowdown, an increase in visibility for enemy equipment. You can cope with a fire using Party Repair, but they are not endless, and recovery takes a long time.  When playing on a battleship when the distance to an enemy ship is more than 10 km, use High-Explosive shells.

Sink the enemy ship! Damage to the hull below the waterline may put a gradual flooding of the ship. The most effective projectiles for this - torpedoes. Flooding will cause a loss in combat effectiveness and deceleration of the ship, which will be a one-way ticket. By limiting speed of the enemy, you can finally finish him with your arsenal. To sink a ship with torpedoes, you need to take into account such factors as speed and type of ship. If you notice that the enemy does not change direction for a long time, then you can safely use torpedoes.

If you are completely desperate and do not know what to do, then your choice is to ram! Use it only as a last resort, since in a collision the ships suffer enormous damage, and a direct hit at full speed causes suicide. And you get extra XP and damage.
